Blazers add a flair of sophistication.
One of my favorite duos are blazers with jeans. The comfort of jeans paired with the sophistication of a blazer makes for an ideal outfit. Moreover, the blazer and the jean combo is versatile and can be worn in a business casual setting, a date night, brunch, and as a casual day outfit depending on the type of shoe you pair with it. In this case, I paired it with a pair of thong slipper heels.
If you are looking to achieve a more classic look there are certain elements of the blazer that you should keep an eye out for. Starting with the entire fit of the blazer, which includes the length of the arms, the fit on the shoulders, and how the garment drapes and provides a silhouette to your body shape is key.
If you are looking to achieve a more unorthodox style and are not as connected to the classic style, then you can add in your more loose-fitted blazer. Elements of an unorthodox blazer include non-traditional textures, varying pops of colors, designed to show elements that are unique to the garment.
As a tall woman, finding the appropriate length for pants is a challenge. So when I am looking to achieve a baggy jean look I go to the men’s section to find a jean with the perfect length and then tailor the waist to achieve the perfect boyfriend jean.
